Medals
In World of Aegis, medals are awarded to exceptional players with an outstanding record within the community. There are several medals to be awarded in game. They are as follows:

Community Seal 
To be bestowed on an account once it has been active for a minimum period of 1 month. This is to encourage players to continue playing and is a prerequisite for all other medals. It increases in level by 1 each week and can be a requirement for entering certain threads eg. Medal nominations and Senate.
The CS may be removed or reset as punishment for misconduct / misbehavior at the discretion of eldar/administration. A guide to the policy for resetting or removal of CS follows.
Resetting to zero will occur if: - Account has been ghosted for inappropriate behavior in gamechat or the empire forum 3 - 5 times in the same month. - Account commits two MA offences within the same month.
Removal of Community Seal will occur if: - Account has been ghosted for inappropriate behaviour in gamechat or the empire forum more than 6 times in the same month, or has earned three consecutive resets over three months. - Account has three strikes of Multi Abuse - Account is placed on Ban Watch
A CS that has been removed for misconduct / misbehavior cannot be awarded again for a minimum of 3 months. As the CS is a prerequisite to all other medals, no other medals can be awarded to the account while it has no CS attached.
Good Conduct and Merit Medal 
Account must be at least 6 months old. The account must be nominated for this award and support shown from several other players (minimum 75% of kingdom or 10 others including the nominator). The nomination and support of the nomination is to be posted in the Empire Forum under Offtopic, Flame and Leisure / Medal Nominations thread. To achieve this award, the account must actively participate in either kingdom forums or game chat. His/her contribution must be recognized by kingdom mates or be recognized by the wider community due to participation in game chat. Participation in the empire forums is not mandatory but will add to the likelihood of the nomination being successful. In general the reason for awarding this medal is that he/she recognizably improves the gaming experience of kingdom mates or the wider Aegis community (through game chat participation) by displaying a positive attitude and making the game more fun for those interacted with.
The GC may be removed as punishment for misconduct / misbehavior at the discretion of eldar/administration. A guide to the policy for removal of GC follows.
Removal of Good Conduct medal may occur when: - Account has been ghosted for inappropriate behavior in gamechat or the empire forum more than 3 - 5 times in the same month; or has had CS reset three consecutive months. - Account has three strikes of Multi Abuse - Account is placed on Ban Watch
A GC that has been removed for misconduct / misbehavior cannot be awarded again for a minimum of 6 months.
Forum Participation and Help Medal
Account must be at least 6 months old. The account can be nominated for this award in the Empire Forum under Offtopic, Flame and Leisure / Medal Nominations thread. This is desirable but not mandatory. The account must have posted regularly in at least four of the thread categories below for a minimum of 3 months. Posting regularly in only one category e.g. posting only in Politics, will not qualify the account for this award. [1:31:47 PM] Steve: The FPH may be removed as punishment for misconduct / misbehavior at the discretion of eldar/administration. The FPH may be removed if the Account is placed on Ban Watch.
An FPH that has been removed for misconduct / misbehavior cannot be awarded again for a minimum of 6 months.
Outstanding Battle Merit 
To be eligible for this award an Account must have achieved Veteran status, that is, have been played for a minimum of 12 months. Eligible Accounts must be nominated for this award by email to the eldar. The email must contain specific examples supporting the nomination. On receiving the email, eldar will publish in the Empire Forum under Offtopic, Flame and Leisure / Medal Nominations thread, calling for further supporting emails over a 2 week period. Again, all supporting emails must contain specific examples supporting the nomination. Typically the nominee is recognized by many as a skillful leader during conflict. This is not about individual prowess in battle, but about leadership, military strategy including the formation of strategic alliances, determination to win wars if not battles and gaining the respect of enemies as a formidable foe over a lengthy period of time.
The BMA may be removed as punishment for misconduct / misbehavior at the discretion of eldar/administration. The BMA may be removed if the Account is placed on Ban Watch
A BMA that has been removed for misconduct / misbehavior must be earned again in full. The account cannot be considered for a BMA until 12 months have elapsed from the ending of the punishment period applied.

Medal of Diplomacy 
To be eligible for this award an Account must have achieved Veteran status, that is, have been played for a minimum of 12 months. Eligible Accounts must be nominated for this award by email to the eldar. The email must contain specific examples supporting the nomination. On receiving the email, eldar will publish in the Empire Forum under Offtopic, Flame and Leisure / Medal Nominations thread, calling for further supporting emails over a 2 week period. Again, all supporting emails must contain specific examples supporting the nomination.
Typically the nominee is a character that uses words as their primary weapon in battle. They negotiate to avert or to alleviate current or potential conflict. This may be done visibly through posting in empire forums or speaking in game chat, or could be done quietly through private talks (on Skype) between relevant parties (Skype conversations must be confirmed by relevant parties involved).
The Diplomacy Medal may be removed as punishment for misconduct / misbehavior at the discretion of eldar/administration. The Diplomacy medal may be removed if the Account is placed on Ban Watch
A Diplomacy medal that has been removed for misconduct / misbehavior must be earned again in full. The account cannot be considered for Diplomacy medal until 12 months have elapsed from the ending of the punishment period applied.
Roleplay Medal 
To be eligible for this award an Account must have achieved Veteran status, that is, have been played for a minimum of 12 months. Eligible Accounts must be nominated for this award by email to the eldar. The email must contain specific examples supporting the nomination. On receiving the email, eldar will publish in the Empire Forum under Offtopic, Flame and Leisure / Medal Nominations thread, calling for further supporting emails over a 2 week period. Again, all supporting emails must contain specific examples supporting the nomination.
Typically the nominee is a character that is recognized as such by wider Aegis. This will be demonstrated by all posts in empire forums, and regular appearances in game chat. Consistency is the key to success with every possible interaction staying true to the character created.
The RolePlay Medal may be removed as punishment for misconduct / misbehavior at the discretion of eldar/administration. The RolePlay medal may be removed if the Account is placed on Ban Watch
A RolePlay medal that has been removed for misconduct / misbehavior must be earned again in full. The account cannot be considered for a RolePlay medal until 12 months have elapsed from the ending of the punishment period applied.
Ghost 
Awarded for misconduct / misbehavior, it can last from 0 to 10 days. It can be a warning in the form of a zero kick which when delivered will cause the account to be disconnected from aegis. Alternatively, it can be awarded for 1 to 10 days depending on the seriousness of the misbehavior / misconduct. While wearing the ghost medal, the account cannot view or post in kingdom or empire forums and cannot view or post in game chat.
Mule 
Multi User Limitations have been discontinued. They served to show the negative impact a particular player had on the community. A Mule limited player interaction in a variety of ways.
Nomination
To nominate a player, a player should use the Medal Nominations thread in the empire forum. Medal Nominations for Good Conduct and Forum Participation to be posted in this format:
Nominee: Name of Province Award: Good Conduct or Forum participation & Help Reasons: Specific examples or reasons for why the award should be given.
Medal Nominations for Battle merit, Roleplay and Diplomacy to be sent by email to the Eldars.
