History of Heaven…. The beginning
I (reindeer) started playing aegis in July of 2004 and played it until March 2005 Here I will talk about that period of game. Ill try and divide periods...1st period would be beginning of our kd Heaven, 2nd period would be Rise of Heaven, 3rd period is War against Dark alliance, 4th period Pre Troikan wars, 5th period Troikan war, 6th period post troikan war It seems too many periods for such short time span, but each of this Timeframes can’t be merged in 1 coz of constant shifting of powers in Ageis
Beginning
I joined this beautiful game at start of July, it was turn 906. At this time kd of heaven wasn’t found yet, at least whit that name Before MEK introduced kd names all kds was called by Ruling province name Kd from which Heaven emerged was called Kingdom of Atlantis at that time. It was positioned second on score table just behind MEK kingdom. Aegis was still rarely populated and there weren’t much provinces or Kingdoms. Major provinces was MEK whit 5 mil NW, Atlantis whit 2 MIL NW, Mystical whit 1MIL Nw, Gromenwere whit 500k Nw... Kingdome of Atlantis upon my joining was consist of just 3 provinces Atlantis, Reindeer (30k nw :) ) and me At this time all top provinces were in constant warring whit each other never striking whit enough power to raze the opponent, Then they created Shadow realm. Few old players join them as Seedy Acres and Mystique36 (later reset by me :p )Neither of these 3 top kd’s prevailed in war, there weren’t much coordinated attacks and provinces attacked but never with enough power to destroy their opponent. Heavenly joined us just little after me and atlantis passed the crown to him as the biggest province. We all were close to Nw but heaven got some more Nw and atlantis just left note that he didn’t have enough time to run a Kd and that biggest nw province should take control. The kd of atlantis was now known as kd of Heavenly. Soon mystical and gromewere combined Nw surpassed the Nw of mek and atlantis and whit one coordinated attack mek was destroyed. Leaving atlantis on top (just out of curiosity I vulture attack and reset mek, probably introducing vulture as term in aegis, lot of discussion on empire forums about that act and about morality of vulturing. I think even today vulturing exist and same discussions are held ) Without mek next victim of shadow realm was atlantis, no need to mention that he was razed to the ground but not reset. At that time kd of heavenly got some fresh blood in Antiquity, land of ares and some more which names I don’t remember now. With the destruction of atlantis I was left as biggest province of kd whit 1,2 mil Nw and I was next target of shadow realm attacks, I was destroyed but not reset. By this time some cosmetic changes where introduced so now we could have kd name and picture, after long debate about kd name we all decided to call it Heaven after our king heavenly, and the Kd heaven was born. We were positioned second on score list just behind shadow realm Aegis start to be more populated and every day new provinces would arrive and kingdoms were made, so the second era or period of the game can begin
Rise of Heaven
In this era there weren’t much wars, provinces just tended to grow and whit them their kingdoms. after passing his crown to Heavenly atlantis wasn’t very active and at the end he went out of kingdom to the kingdom of Espana where his friends played Mystical was top province and together whit gromewere they got absolute power, no one could put in question that power Their kd was open all the time and was positioned 1st on score table so many new and old provinces joined them even strengthening their power. New kds also emerged on score table at this time, Underdogs, Var lil hala (VLH in later text), Midle earth , open country, Espana, hibernia etc Position was as follow Shadow realm, Heaven, Underdogs, Middle earth, Espana, Hibernia.... VLH, Oc This 5 kds where much above all others and vlh and oc was somewhere around just enough to be mention Peace didn’t last too long, but this period can be remember as peace period in which everyone grow
Dark ages of aegis
(axis of power against The allied kingdoms war)
This is longest period of all 6 periods and indeed this was long period of war in which we fought for all small kingdoms and provinces. We started that war not shadow realm or someone else, we from heaven started it.
I remember why, but lots of others have some other opinion...for me reason for starting this war was describe in period 1 but mystical and gromewere all just kept quiet lately, never posting anything on forums and never attacking So there was not reason to attack shadow realm (SR in later text) The trigger for the war where blind attacks from SR on other kd’s and independent provinces. As already mentioned SR was open and many new provinces daily entered SR. No limit to kd numbers result in Sr to have more than 60 provinces we had around 20 at that time. Mystical was not some ruler that coordinated his provinces but whit merc system which didn’t limit mercenaries he could provide enormous defence for his vassals so everyone inside of his kingdom wouldn’t worry about retals for attacks they did
His vassals just keep attacking all over aegis. Not us or other larger kingdoms, just small newly born kingdoms and independent provinces. Combining that and things from the first period of game we decided to proclaim war against SR in forums.Calling for all aegis provinces to join in that effort. Antiquity A province from heaven created the names axis of power and The alliance he was also the founder of the the alliance. We had a group on yahoo or something from where he tried to coordinate against the axis. But lots of Kd’s weren’t interested or didn’t go all out since they had much too loose and few to gain. As was described before we weren’t in danger by them but still we didn’t like the behaviour of SR provinces. At this moment some major alliances and enemies where born. Kd of Underdogs whit queen Mellisa and Middle Earth whit king Akatsuki immediately jump into the alliance whit us, the Kd of espana stayed neutral. A few more smaller kingdoms joined our cause but 1kd (i must mention it) VLH whit king Garr decide that its not a war to free aegis of unprovoked attacks and that we wanted this war to rise to no 1 spot. omg was he stubborn fellow Lots of messages where posted on Empire forums trying to reason garr to join the alliance but he didn’t (in later periods more of Garr) Mystical introduced a new kingdom in aegis soon after tension began to rise...whit his multi speedest he formed Dark Horde (DH), gromewere a no 1 player joined him. That granting him enough NW to become no2 kd on scores so we become no3. Attacks from sr and dh on new provinces and smaller kingdoms continued. Disgusted by this we decided to attack. We attacked first on Sr, without much coordination and against mystical enormous mercenary defence so we had no chance but from that day on lots of single attacks where done on SR. Unfortunately never scratching mysticals huge defence. Soon we divided the targets amongst ourselves leaving us on SR and underdogs start war against DH. Soon dh organised a coordinate attack against underdogs razing 1 or 2 provinces and Mystical whit the major provinces of Sr attacked us. I’ll never forget that day it was just around Christmas, I logged in that morning and all that I saw was all our major provinces razed...even Tara(who later became an elder) which never commit any attack on anyone. Our nw was reduced and we became no 6 or 7 kingdom. Many important players from heaven quitted playing that day. In the meantime Underdogs got more success and launched an overwhelming attack on speedest which failed because of a game bug. VLH and garr still refused to help in war and they began to make their mercenary king Hull, they claimed that hull was there to launch attack on mystical but that attack never occurred. Some time before New Year a small province whit lots of multies dyonisius noticed that speedest was taking his turns, that meant that his defence was down. Dyonisus took advantage and destroyed speedest. The entire kd of DH was disband, lots of provinces escaped and ran to KD’s all over aegis. And gromewere became the first empress of aegis. Now it was time to turn on mystical, if we couldn’t raze him we could breach the defence of some smaller provinces. Now whit the whole of aegis going after him he decided to become emperor. By doing this he disbanded SR and the hunt for former SR/DH provinces began. Seedy acres was destroyed right after the fall of SR. Few others like mystique36 escaped in knights of honour or other KD’s But the alliance didn’t have more power to pursue all of them so we concluded axis and alliance war. From the war we came out as kingdom number 2, underdogs became kingdom number 1. In this great war we had a key part, we stood for small provinces and for peace of aegis. I thought it’s now time for A new order some provinces even spoke about creating a some sort of United nations which would resolve conflicts between kingdoms. But in fact United Nations could not be applied in aegis so it was not created.
Pre troika war period
From dark alliances war we emerged powerful. We were 2 on scores whit lots of major provinces, in war we lost a valuable province of Antiquity but still maintained our core provinces and even got an eldar in Tara. Lots of provinces joined heaven and we have unmatched defense from our kings mercenaries. He earned more money from tributes than some kingdomes got total networth. We got lots of friend among aegians, Strong allies in underdogs and middle earth, in this period a lot of new strong kingdoms emerged like Sacro romano empire, knights of honor, Kaimelea a Seere and old kingdoms still holding their places. Again a short period of peace lasted some time, but some minor disputes could not be agreed. Such incident made us enemies whit kingdom of Open Country and VLH (vlh just waited for something to turn against us) Lots of diplomatic negotiation where concluded without any good solutions. Underdogs didn’t maintain the peace they waged war against OC and razed them to the ground. VLH immediately attacked which resulted in us combined (heaven and underdogs) to break their mercenary king and reset lots of province in VLH. VLH never became powerful again coz we would reset them soon as they reach some nw. Garr was our enemy and fortunately the entire aegis population didn’t hold that against us coz we were fair to everyone even sanctioning any attack on others. But spy missions mindless attacks of some warmongers among us and being tired of politics in EF resulted in our withdrawal from politics. Common opinion about us was changing very quickly. Still we were growing and discovering new tactics getting first paths in aegis we were unmatched. From boredom we discussed late at night how it would be great that we rule aegis like we wanted and that our allies and us have right to do what we want...that talk became more of reality very soon.
Troikan war
This period was shorter than any before but more things happen in this period than ever in the whole of aegis. Somehow our meaningless talks about 3 kingdom dictatorship, Heaven, Underdogs and hibernia (hibernia replace midle earth on 3rd spot as most of middle earth became inactive) got down to the forums. All of aegis didn’t know what was happening and they started to talk alot about: that it is not fair and so on. There was even some codes and regulations in which all other aegis provinces needed to behave if they didn’t want to be reset. That development on forums caught us unprepared, heaven was almost inactive, hibernia was still small and was equal to other kingdoms only underdogs where somewhat prepared. We were mostly oriented on ourselves and beside some attacks on VLH we didn’t face war or attacks on us in some time. Well for a real life month or so. But such events caught us and we were involved, I even remember few posts on our kingdom forum abt what the fuck is going on. Still we didn’t have to be afraid of anyone, Heavenly maintained a massive merc defence probably unbreakable by any force. Other provinces start plotting and hiding all over net, opening secret forums and pages organizing a defence from our attack We were amused by such situation and we never attack no one until Knights of Honor (KoH) whit king brune and lead by wise diplomat Elemental started attacks against hibernia, lots of random provinces followed that attack seriously damaging hibernia. We realised retal attack on the most involved kingdoms of KoH and Kaimelea a Seere. We destroyed koh completely and razed lots of provinces in Kaimelea a Seere. That’s when the time came that MEK introduced restrictions on mercs to help smaller kingdoms. Heavenly then stopped playing his turns just to keep mercenaries. Meanwhile former KoH provinces sought shelter in VLH which manage to make a considerable province of hull, whit low nw so it wouldn’t be attacked and still whit large merc defence Maybe 2 weeks after declaration of troika the war was over, I have a feeling that all provinces of aegis attacked Underdogs and combined managed to reset Mellisa queen of Underdogs that was the end of the underdogs and most of their provinces. Hibernia bailed out of war and so it was just us against aegis. We got a great province of Hassan former underdogs province inside our kingdom. so he whit his connections started peace talks whit elemental. The decision was made him, heavenly, me and ares where to be razed but not to be reset. He first stepped out of kingdome and committed himself to raze then he join KoH for protection against VLH and garr who demand our reset of all of us. I delayed raze of myself and others and was pretty sure that such attack that underdogs suffered could never again be commit. Especially against heaven and heavenly’s defence. For the first time in history we were no1 on scoreboard without anyone near us. We didn’t suffer any damage in war and all others were pretty damaged. Then hand of mek smiles upon our enemys again, king heavenly was inactive more than 400 turns and was deleted the entire kingdome was disbanded...That was end of troika wars
Post troika war period
Our enemies still didn’t chase us after our kingdom disband but mainly because only few provinces joined a new formed kingdom under rule of reindeer.. Tara left, and largest province in aegis bluedragon left. I was bitter because we are now 17th or 16th kingdom on the scores table and we where just a shadow of the former heaven glory. Still we managed force enough to destroy enemies from our former allies that had been planning and plotting against the troika idea. Mainly there we took down garno and dyonisus and after that blue dragon Blue dragon left to middle earth and after our attacks on him the entire middle earth attack us in this week shape Ares reinder and me were razed to ground whitout any defence some arch enemys come to vulture primary Garr and Lord Mjuk from VLH, followed by bokultis and Steven. Ares took the crown from reindeer which went inactive and shortly after him I went inactive leaving ares whit destroyed kingdom. I thought that it heaven is gone for god but ares have some other things on his mind...

This about covers the entire beginning of aegis from our view. More is to come as is said in the last line. But it would be too long to post all of this together. And since a lot of people have been asking for those days of in the beginning. I hope to have brought everyone a bit closer to what happened in the beginning of aegis. I apologise if names aren’t correct but it was a long time ago even for me. And appologise for any language mistakes but I did my best togehter with reindeer.
My respect goes to my former Kd mates and king. I hope to have honoured you guys with this post.
